Last year I decided to take a break from social media. In fact I even talked about in a previous post. In the end it did me a world of good. I was able to clear my head and tried to refocus my approach upon my return.
Well that that time has come once again. In fact this is the first of two breaks I plan to take. The second will be between Septemeber and October when I am looking to escape the political nonsense that is sure to plague my newsfeed. In this case I have found myself growing frustrated by posts and or comments I read. I’ve found myself wanting to comment on things I would normally avoid. In fact I already have allowed myself to do this only to remove it once I realize what I’ve done.
There is a family member of mine that drove me nuts. In fact talking about this very person got me worked up. Mind you this is somebody I haven’t seen for a long time. Within the last couple of years I came to realize that it wasn’t worth it and I was determined to avoid the subject as much as possible. I’ve been able accomplish just that and I’ve been a lot happier as a result. So I need to use this same practice with social media. Let’s see how it goes.
Well I guess that about wraps things up for now. Hopefully I can stay on track with this. I think removing the apps will help with the process. In fact I have already done this. The only one left is on my phone and I’ll remove that once this is published.
