Social Media Break 2020: So Far So Good

I am happy to say that other than signing into my accounts a few times to check on certain posts, I have managed to avoid any actual activity. Don’t get me wrong, I have been temped to sign in just so I can comment on something , but I have managed to resist it. I think removing the apps had helped a lot with that m

At this point I am trying to figure if I want to extend this break into the middle of next month. While I am a bit mixed on this, I am leaning toward an extension .

Like the last time avoiding social media has been much easier than I expected. When I do decide to return I’d like to work on only signing in two or three days a week. If I can do that than I’d be extremely happy. I’ve tried doing this in the past, but I’d eventually fall into my old habit. So obviously this is something I need to work on.

As I am typing this I am now contemplating closing my Twitter account. While I prefer Twitter over Facebook, I have family and childhood friends on there that I want to keep in touch with. Besides I’d miss out on seeing pictures family members and others who are important to me. Not to mention pictures of baseball games and other events I’ve attended.

Well I guess that about wraps things up for today. I said I wanted to try and use this time to work on my blog and as soon as this came to mind I figured I better act on it. I hope you enjoy your weekend.
