Welcome followers & Facebook friends. I have decided to follow through with taking a break from the service which I have talked about in recent months. I am doing this for a number of reasons that will be explained in this post.
- I need to get away from the politics comes with social media as a whole. Especially at this time of year. Not to mention the fact that it’s more prevalent now and will continue be so for quite some time. Besides I have come to find the subject depressing which wasn’t always the case. But I am not the same person I once was. I’ve grown since I’ve first registered to vote. Because of this I am no longer registered to a party. Looking back I wish I never registered with one in the first. Okay that’s enough on that one.
- I simply need the break. I used to be active on Twitter, but I deactivated that account months ago and I haven’t looked back since. Honestly it has been quite refreshing and I’m not sure if I’ll return to it. The difference with difference with Facebook is that I have family (including those who are like family) and old friend I like to keep up with.
- Who the hell are we kidding, I spend way too much time on there anyway and I’m sure many of you are aware of this.
So there you have it. It’s going to be interesting to see how it goes over the next four or so months. At this point my gameplan is to return sometime in March, but that can always change. After deactivated my Twitter back in July and haven’t thought too much about it since.
Well that about wraps things up for now. As I always I’d like to thank my followers and any of my Facebook friends who dropped by to check out my little blog. With that I will bring this post to a close. As always I hope all is well in your part of the world. Oh there is just one more thing.
On a side note I decided to vote early this year. It took about 3 hours from got in line to the point I inserted my ballot into the machine.
There is just one more thing before I go. BAT BOY FOR PRESIDENT 2020! Sorry I had to work that in there somehow.
