Well I officially deactivated my Facebook page about a week ago and I haven’t missed a bit. I honestly believe this was the best move I could have made for myself. Especially with all that is going on with the continued focus on the election which I totally expected.
Speaking of which I started a blog post that was supposed to focus on the campaign mailers I had been receiving. After a few revisions I started to second guess whether or not I wanted to follow through with it after all for a number of reasons. One of which was that my sole purpose for stepping away from Facebook was to escape the politics that had been plaguing my newsfeed and here I was discussing that very thing. It wasn’t until I was emailing my penfriend Adam about this and realized that I was defeating my own purpose. After I sent the email I deleted the draft I had been working on so I can focus on other subjects.
In fact I am working on a couple of them which I hope to publish soon. If all goes well I hope to publish one within next couple of weeks and another shortly thereafter. This all depends on the progress that I make. One of which is part of my Picture Project series.
