This past Sunday my girlfriend and I decided to pay a visit to the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Great River, NY which right here on Long Island.
I first heard about the arboretum from my friend Bobby who is really more like a brother than anything. He spoke volumes about the it and I knew we needed a break from the typical routine we normally do. Especially with the chaos as a result of the coronavirus. I figured walking through a state park offering everything nature had to offer along with along with a surprise or two was exactly what was needed.
We really enjoyed our time there and are looking forward to going back again. Who knows maybe the next time can stay here longer. Especially since I am sure there were things we missed out on. Either way it should be fun.
I want to thank Bobby for mentioning the arboretum. It was so much better than I or should I say we could have ever expected.
