Like many I’ve been seeing my fair share of clickbait headlines in search engine & news apps. Now obviously the purpose of these bullshit (you saw that right) links is to grab your attention in the hope that you will will actually click on it to see what it’s all about.
Today I finally got tired of it after seeing see one show up in Yahoo News claiming that all Aldi stores were closing this year which I know for a fact is a complete lie since they’re actually expanding here in the USA. So I reported it.as being misleading & I plan to continue this practice even though I’m sure it won’t change anything .
As annoying as I might find these fake news headlines (what do know that actually applies to this situation) I have to admit that one of the best ones I’ve seen is one about real estate available in my town. The ads in this.case shows homes you can’t find around here. All I can do is laugh whenever it popped up In fact I once took a screenshot & sent it to a friend of mine as a joke.
Sadly at the end of the day nothing will ever change & I’m sure I’ll eventually grow tired of reporting the nonsense. I know this because it happened with the shills that comment on the sports pages on Facebook about streaming NFL games through some service they claim to use. Right and I’m the president of Antarctica.
